And the winners are…..

PM: Suresh Naidu (More than two-thirds majority!)

DPM: Anita Paul. Despite her resistance to the post and penchant for suddenly breaking into song, the people have spoken.

Finance: Kumareseh. The PM needs a crony.

Defense: Ragu. It was a tie between Ragu and Kiran, but good triumphs over evil.

Education: Mrs Kwan. She won hands-down.

Higher Education: Mr Hiew. Mrs Kwan needs a crony too.

Women, Family and Community Development: Lua Sharmini. She’s got the glamor needed.

Information: Loh Er Lern. BN didn’t take advantage of cyberspace and lost. We can’t afford to let that happen here.

Internal Security and Home Affairs: Sharmila. She was made for the job!

Law: Nadiah. Brilliant choice.

Foreign Affairs: Rathakrishnan. Again, he won hands-down. Diplomacy is his middle-name.

International Trade: John. He’s on a provisional basis, untill his cold clears up.

Health: Jessica. Despite her resistance to the post. the people have spoken.

Human Resources: Ambi. Can you imagine the combo of Women, Family and Community Development as well as Human Resources?

Works: Nages. He wants to develop Semenyih.

National Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage: Nell. And no, pubs do not constitute the official definition of ‘culture’.

Science, Technology and Innovation: The people have decided, Saw can do it.

Entrepreneurial and Cooperative Development: Suresh Kumar is your man.

Tourism: Rajini. As a media man, he has a lot of ideas for Visit APIIT 2008 / 2009.

Housing & Local Government: Tang has an intimate knowledge of buildings.

Natural Resources and the Environment: Initially there was resistance to the choice of a non-Malaysian heading this ministry, but given Malaysia’s track-record for environmental protection, the job HAD to go to an Iranian. The PM hath decreed.

Minister in PM’s Dept: Siti. An all-male PM dept is awfully boring.

Rural and Regional Development: Kiran. He ranted, he raved, he resisted but the people have spoken.

Sports: Sasha. I voted myself in! 🙂
